Our Story
All I really wanted was to eat well in Athens.
In the past two years, I found myself landing in the Greek capital at least once a month, but even though it is one of the tastiest cities in the world by any measure, I was disappointed by the kosher options available there.
Many Israelis would solve this problem the old-fashioned way: endless compromises or canned food brought from home. But I, for my own sake and for others, decided to take a different path. What happened next took that decision many steps further.
And so King David was born: a kosher, blue-and-white eatery that aimed to make good burgers, and today does much more than that.
